Our Vision
Christ alone - disciple, equip and train church leaders, both young and old throughout Eastern Africa. We seek to disciple our students in the Christian faith and equip and train them for ministry.
Who we are?
Branch of AIC Diguna
The DIGUNA Discipleship Training (DDT) School is a branch of the mission AIC (Africa Inland Church) DIGUNA. In DIGUNA, Africans and Europeans cooperate together for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can learn more about DIGUNA by clicking here
Equip for ministry
We are passionate about discipling our students in the Christian faith and equipping and training them for ministry.
Theoretical and practical
Our approach in teaching is both theoretical and practical. Our students in the English courses learn about the Bible and Christianity as well as acquiring life skills. One of these life skills is learning to use the computer competently.
Swahili and English
We run different courses throughout the year. The Swahili courses are usually for older students with ministry experience, many of whom are church pastors, leaders, elders or evangelists. Our English courses, however, are for younger students who have recently finished their schooling, many of them are leaders in their communities.
We offer 2 English courses through the year, a “Form 4 Leavers” course and a “Young Leaders Training” course. Both of them are 10 weeks long.
Our Teachers
Hans Seppi
Hans is perhaps most known for starting the DIGUNA Discipleship Training school, about 30 years ago. He has a wealth of experience both in teaching and understanding Kenya and its people. Hans also speaks very good Kiswahili. Recently, Hans started helping in an A.I.C. church plant in Rangau (in the vicinity of Ongata Rongai). He is passionate about teaching at the DDT, and always seeks to make his teaching simple and understandable. He also has a passion for nature and the environment. Hans is married to Jacqueline and has 5 older children. Both of them are from Switzerland and have lived in Kenya for many years.
John Kinyanjui
Am Rev. John Kinyanjui, a born again servant of God. I have served with Africa Inland Church in Uasin-Gishu, Laikipia and Nyandarua counties until early 2018 when I joined Diguna Discipleship Training as a teacher, developing and discipling people of God for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.
